YAY i finally got my sexy sexy sexy macbookPro :D **

Last Friday at PPC group, one of the discussion questions were: "If you could turn back in time, where would you go?"
Responses round the table went something like this:
- when I was living in america
- when egyptians built the pyramids
- when the greeks conqured the egyptians and
- before electricity was invented

My response was: when I was back in primary school.

It was so easy being a kid, nothing really ever seemed to matter.
- after school care was fun because it meant you get to see your friends for longer and eat things like fairy bread and watch play school
- swimming lessons and piano lessons, whether or not if your parents made you- you still had to do it
- breaking and making up with best friends at least 100 times a year
- eating things like ice cream and chips and lollies
- falling over and you are expected to cry
- birthday and christmas parties and presents and holidays
- adults having arguments and/or issues, but you are too busy having fun or too young to understand
- making a scene at the supermarket because your mum wouldn't let you buy a block of chocolate
- or when one good thing happens, the other nine bad things don't even matter anymore.

I wish I could turn back in time. So that this one good thing **, would make the nine bad things go away.

maybe it's a happy birthday to me.

So I've reached the old, ugly number, the two. oh.
Why is it ugly- it just is. Why is it old - self explanatory.

I don't feel that great.

Maybe it's because I can't be seen in a mini skirt anymore,
or even if I wanted to, I can't colour my hair pink or wear it in pony tails.
Maybe it's because people are not failing to remind me this is the stage of wrinkles,
or that I'm closer to death.
Maybe I am just going through a mid-life criss where I finally realise I am no longer a teen;

No- it's actually because too many problems have been dumped on me recently, and I just don't know how to prioritise and/or deal with each fucking one.

At least there is one issue I know I'm not responsible in fixing, because it's on you to fix.

Recent/Upcoming

My recent events.

1. so officially as of last night, I began my new hobby as a photographer, ok I lied. Not yet, since I still don’t have a DSLR in possession, but I took several (haha ok understatement?) awful shots with JLam’s new DSLR. Out of the million I took of him just sitting in his car pulling the most awkward poses, I would say 2 turned out just 'okay.' I didn’t realise it was going to be so ..hard! dw, I’ll be pro soon! I just can’t wait to get my hands on my uncle’s Nikon D70.

2. work is urgh.. need I say anything more +_+

3. don’t you hate it when uni makes you sit stupid, but compulsory tests/assignments again and again throughout the semester ..and RMIT in particular, makes these mini-shits worth 2-5% of the subject?draaaaaaaaaaaaaaainer, cbf. couldn’t they just make one assignment worth 50 and the exam 50. sigh haha but if they did that, I probs wouldn’t open any books until 2 weeks before exam = fail ..so I should just shut up lol.

4. new fob fringe :( big mistake!

5. new addictions: farmville, restaurant city, cracking my knuckles, soy milk, fantasy by danny fernandez

My upcoming events.

1. the kp’ers ball is tomorrow night, I can’t believe I’ve left things to the very last minute. Bought a blue dress last night and is still hunting down a classy clutch! Searched MC tonight…but nothing. Grr, anyone have a black clutch I could borrow for the night?thks! Lol

2. my 20^th is coming up in a month’s time ..and I already know what I want! I just can’t decide between the 13 or 15inch MacbookPro. Thks mum/dad! :)

3. two mid-sems next week. FML

BTW I’m always forgetting my password to xanga. I hate how I have to repeatedly press “Forgot my password” each time to have it sent to my hotmail for me login. My memory is failing me :(
